This particular slipper clutch boasts a state-of-the-art (patented) “radial clutch” system that provides an added layer of security by minimizing the chance of locking up the rear wheel. Furthermore, a supplementary rocker arm is included to help evenly distribute torque over a variable duration of time. This leads to a more seamless acceleration and deceleration process, even when down-shifting multiple gears.

The engine will not experience a sudden surge in speed but rather will maintain a consistent pace, thus preventing potential problems that could arise from excessive engine revs. This advantageous feature is particularly useful when driving at high speeds wherein the gear engaged may not be suitable for the engine’s current revolutions.
